Graham Walker is the Deputy Director of GDS Innovation. In his role, he oversees the Data Science, AI and Emerging Tech and GovTech teams within the Government Digital Service in Cabinet Office. He has over 20 years of experience of digital transformation, working in the public, private and voluntary sectors, and he has advised many overseas governments on digital transformation.  Graham worked closely with Martha Lane Fox on the review that led to GDS being set up in the Cabinet Office.  He was seconded into Cabinet Office to lead work for Francis Maude on developing the ‘digital by default’ programme and ensuring Martha’s recommendations were delivered.
